Salman currently holds the role of Senior Manager of Sourcing and Contracts for the technical division at Etihad Airways. His responsibilities span the entire spectrum of technical from retrofits to BFE (Buyer Furnished Equipment) selection, and leadership in technical discussions and negotiations. Over the past decade, Salman has been deeply involved in hands-on work related to BFE and maintenance suppliers technical selection, contributing to new product development and in-service support across various aircraft and retrofit programmes within Etihad Airways.

An Aeronautical Engineer by training, Salman garnered valuable experience in the cabin interior manufacturing industry and commenced his career at Rolls Royce as an engineer before joining Etihad Airways. Throughout his professional journey, Salman has cultivated a vast network and knowledge base focused on BFE vendors, products, and emerging trends.
