Alya A. Hafeedh AL Qalam AL Yafie is Manager Development Engineering at Oman Air with experience on Avionics/ Electrical systems, e-Enablement, IFE and connectivity across Oman Air fleets currently in charge of IFE and connectivity. 

Alya A. Hafeedh AL Qalam AL Yafie received degree of Master of Science in Maintenance Management from Glasgow Caledonian in the period from 2008 -2011, in addition to a high diploma from aviation academy in Egypt. Alya completed Aviator Leadership program by Said Business School, University of Oxford.

Alya Hafeedh AL Qalam AL Yafie is the first female Gulf National Aircraft Avionics Maintenance Engineer who successfully acquired DGCAR Oman Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License in1998 on Aircraft Avionics and Electrical Systems.

Alya A Hafeedh AL Qalam AL Yafie has been selected as a member in the Advisory Boards of Connected Aviation Intelligence & Aircraft Interiors Middle East. Alya was also honored with Certificate of appreciation for contributions to Omani women inspiration from National Bank of Oman, Whispers of Serenity Clinic in Muscat and Certificate of Appreciation for outstanding contribution and inspiration as Omani Women from Oman Air.
